swim test in texas

this past wednesday, i flew to san antonio to swim test for a position with the animal training department at seaworld. my friend, christy, picked me up around midnight on wednesday and my swim test started at 8am that morning. i was full of excitement a little bit of nerves, but had faith that God was with me and He would guide me through this process, again. it's pretty competitive this time around. there were 100 applicants and only 15 were invited to swim test for 2 positions. the field of applicants varied from past senior trainers and trainers to people who already live in san antonio and other people from other facilities around the U.S. that have experience. i did GREAT on the swim test portion. i felt really strong in my swim, and completed the underwater swim with no problems!! the interview went well, but it's so hard to know if you did well or not during seaeworld interviews.

sooooo...now i wait. they said they would let me know within the next few weeks. it's in God's hands and i'm at total peace knowing that everything will happen in HIS timing...
