i can't help but think of my own marriage today...how if failed...how i'll never reach 33 years like i thought i would on my now-forgetful wedding day. gosh, i didn't even make it to THREE years. i know one day, God will bless me with a REAL marriage...one that'll go the distance...one full of love and faithfulness, but WHY did i have to go through this failure?? WHY couldn't God have protected me from this heartache and chapter in my life? each day, i grow stronger and stronger and build up more faith in God and myself to move on...
mom and dad,
thank you for your example of love in your marriage. thank you for the wonderful childhood i was blessed with and the way you provided me with sooo many opportunities. i know marriage is tough, and i'm so thankful for your dedication to each other and our family. i hope you had a wonderful dinner celebrating with the hume's, and i can't wait to see you in july!! love you!!
Lisa~You are NOT responsible for Andrew's decision to trash your marriage. You were in it for the distance and would still be married if he hadn't deceived you and our whole family. We all feel betrayed by him and we're glad that you have this opportunity to live the life God has planned for you. Stay strong and keep persevering! Only good things are in store for you:-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words of appreciation and good wishes on our anniversary. You were a big part of making at least 26 out of the 33 years so wonderful. You are so loved!!
