anyways...there have been a few nights where i am dead asleep, and my phone rings. and who do you think it is??? my wonderful twin sister, krysten. and what is so important that she feels like she has to call me so late?? well, i'll tell you what her reasons have been:
-she called to tell me she sang "500 miles" at karaoke
-she called to laugh about a photo someone put on facebook and tagged me as her
-she called to just to hear my sleepy voice
and the last reason she called me...
TO INVITE ME TO GO TO VEGAS FOR 4TH OF JULY!!!!!!
this is how the conversation went...
phone rings at 12:30 am. i stare at the phone and decide to answer it
Lisa: hello?? (in sleepy voice)
Krysten: lisa...WAKE-UP!!!!!!!!!
(i immediately think there's something very wrong, so i wake-up...i'm fully alert)
L: what's wrong? are you ok?
K: do you want to fly to vegas after you get off work on sunday? i'm going to buy you a ticket RIGHT NOW
L: sure, that'll work
that's all i really remember about the conversation...
so we're going to vegas for the 4th...it's going to be AWESOME!!!
I remember when you met me in Vegas when I turned 21, that meant so much to me that you would come visit with me a little! I hope you have a wonderful time with your sister and Happy 4th of July Weekend! This is our busiest time at work, our new Surgical, OB and URO residents have arrived and my job is to make sure they have the proper training in the procedures they will be performing on patients... its not dolphins but training Residents is pretty fun!
